How must a modern pool be designed today?
A pool is an investment for life, which is why it should be well thought out. Swimming, relaxing and aqua fitness are possible in all pools if they are equipped with functionalities such as counter-current systems, massage jets and ground geysers. Boarding ladders are a thing of the past; today, stylish staircases with elegant handrails and non-slip stair coverings lead into the water, which can also be combined with seating and lounging areas for relaxation. In order to keep maintenance to a minimum, smooth surfaces – like with the epoxy-acrylate pools from RivieraPool – are important: they are skin-friendly and easy to clean, and microorganisms hardly stand a chance. By the way, the walls of the RivieraPools are slanted so that ice floes freeze upwards during wintering and do not damage the pool or create pressure. You should consider another important point right away when planning your pool: the roller shutter cover. It not only protects the pool from leaves and coarse dirt, but also ensures that the pool water stays warm. After all, 80 percent of the thermal energy is lost through the surface. A roller shutter cover equipped with solar elements even actively heats the bath water using solar energy. In addition, the pool cover fulfills a safety function: when under load, the closed pool cover only lowers as far as the safety edge – children and dogs get wet feet at most when stepping on it.
