Why are RivieraPools built from epoxy acrylate?

Glass-fibre reinforced plastic is a modern high-performance material used today in aircraft and shipbuilding, in wind turbines or motorcycle helmets. This composite material offers the advantage of combining the extreme strength of fiberglass with the chemical resistance of epoxy acrylate. The material is particularly well suited for swimming pool construction because the one-piece pools are waterproof, extremely weather-resistant and insensitive to frost and heat. Dirt hardly stands a chance on the smooth surface - which is why RivieraPools are particularly easy to clean. It is particularly important that glass-fibre reinforced plastics are processed as a viscous material onto molded parts. This allows installations for technical parts to be molded in, for example recesses for floor drains, massage jets, technical shafts, support edges for roller shutters and stairs. The pool shell can be produced in a sandwich construction, thereby achieving extreme stability on the one hand, and very good thermal insulation on the other.

The pool shells of RivieraPool prefabricated swimming pools consist of seven material layers – each fulfils a very specific function in its place, and in combination they are responsible for the unique properties of the pool: colorfast, easy-care, skin-friendly, long-term resistant to osmosis and fading, energy-saving and stable.
