What are my options for pool renovation?
If your pool has already been in use for decades and visually perhaps no longer quite meets your expectations or has damaged areas, there are several ways to modernise your pool. To freshen up the pool's surface, the top layer can be removed paper-thin and the underlying layer can be polished – the pool will shine like new again. If the surface is actually damaged by external influences, a completely new surface can also be applied. The existing surface is sanded down, damage is repaired and smoothed. Next, a new GRP carrier material is applied and sealed with a layer of paint using a spraying process. If the pool has discolouration at the water line, a glass border can conceal the transitions subtly but effectively. In addition, a so-called Ecofinish can be flame-sprayed onto the pool surface as liquid plastic. This is a plastic coating that has been specially developed for the renovation of swimming pool surfaces and gives the pool a new appearance. The replacement of accessories with shiny stainless steel panels, handrails and modern entrance steps visually upgrades a pool enormously. By using energy-saving LED lighting, the pool can also be modernised in terms of energy efficiency. A new pool cover helps to efficiently insulate your pool and heat up the pool water.
