How do I get my pool ready for spring?

If you have wintered your pool filled and the filter system has also been in continuous operation, you do not need to do much more than check and, if necessary, correct the pH and chlorine values. If you have wintered your pool passively, i.e. switched off the filter system, this is now put into operation again for the first time: You clean it of coarse dirt by backwashing. Let the filter system run for a while and check and/or correct the chlorine and pH values. By the way: If your pool is equipped with automatic measuring and control technology, this technology regulates the water quality automatically – you do not have to do anything else but switch the system back on.
