Does groundwater pose a danger to the RivieraPool swimming pool?

No. Our recommendation is to overwinter the pool when it is filled. In this case, frozen soil cannot compress the pool walls and groundwater cannot cause the pool to float up.

Only draining the pool during periods of high groundwater levels is risky and should be done in a controlled manner. However, RivieraPools are generally unproblematic regarding groundwater; they are very often found even in typical flood areas, for example in the Netherlands. Some pools are installed "up to the collar" in groundwater and survive this situation for 40 years or more.
