“Ancona” is the name of the new pool type from RivieraPool, designed to meet the requirements of modern pools today.

The dominant element in this pre-fabricated pool is an elegant, linear, five-step staircase, which leads the bather into the water via a corner entrance along the pool wall. The last step ends on the pool floor, from which you can easily glide into the pool.

The new staircase is designed so simply that it almost vanishes invisibly beneath the water surface. Thus, the Ancona fits harmoniously into any “outdoor living room” and forms a symbiosis with the surrounding design. The rectangular water surface lies as a generous plane in a natural stone paving, the water level only 5 cm below it – this is contemporary pool design.

With this staircase, function and safety are also paramount. Each step, equipped with slip-resistant coverings, has been designed to be particularly wide and deep, so that you can step fully with the entire foot.

In any case, the high functionality of the pool is enhanced by the usability of the maximum swimming length. In combination with the new roller shutter chamber “Integra 2-13” developed by RivieraPool, the pool not only gets a “counter-wall” for ideal turns, but additionally a shallow water seating and lounging area, which significantly increases the utility of the pool.

The interior architecture of an indoor swimming pool requires even more sensitivity: This is precisely where Ancona plays to its strengths. Conjunct with a roller shutter niche, a modern pool is created with all comfort features, but elements of puristic design. To the delight of the architect, Ancona joins the pool programme from Emsland as a pool type whose clear lines are a commitment to minimalism: In this case, less is simply more.
