Review of Riviera Pool Days 2011

From Saturday, May 7th to Sunday, May 8th, the RivieraPool company, manufacturer of prefabricated swimming pools and whirlpools from Geeste-Dalum in the Emsland region, once again hosted its Pool Days with a warm welcome to the "Riviera"...

Over the two days, the 500-visitor mark was cracked, and more than 180 children were also counted, who chose "their pool" and rounded off the family trip on Mother's Day. By the way: the mothers were pleased to receive a small token of appreciation for Mother's Day. Overall, a "well-rounded event with a number of spontaneous buyers", the sales team was delighted with the many interested parties. The "Consultation Days for Prospective Pool Buyers" were heavily advertised in the daily press, on the internet and via catchy radio spots on HitRadio Antenne. Quite a few spontaneous visitors took the opportunity for a quick taster trip around the pool.

This is the way summer can come, with new swimming pool models for the garden, warm whirlpools for mild summer evenings and with a real highlight: the opening of the new pool garden! Two private swimming pools in the 4 x 8 m and 5 x 10 m categories from the "D-Line" design series were installed, making them the centerpiece of the new pool garden. A chic pool house with a terrace and fireplace, a water wall and many chic equipment details round off the cosy outdoor ambience. In the plant room of the pool house, a novel swimming pool technology can be viewed: the AQUAVISION water treatment system, which helps to achieve crystal-clear water in an energy-saving, low-chlorine and fully automatic way. Special feature of the pool house: it generates its own energy. The electricity required for heating and filtering the pools is generated on the green roof of the house by means of solar panels. An air-to-water heat pump ensures efficient heat generation and saves 80% of the otherwise usual electricity costs. Thus, the new facility corresponds not only to aesthetic, comfortable, but also to ecological aspects.

The manufacturer is thus right on trend: high quality of life with the lowest energy costs. Other equipment features include novel garden furniture from the Netherlands: with "Design-2-chill" furniture, you can relax wonderfully in the outdoor living room. And that, without the eternal lugging in and out of the otherwise usual seat cushions. The furniture is weatherproof and welcomes any weather. For listening pleasure, which must not be missed, Bose outdoor speakers built into the ground show how you can also enjoy chic music outdoors. A small outdoor kitchen from "oneQ" in modular design shows how comfortable grilling and cooking outdoors can be. And to ensure that the entire open-air living area is also harmoniously laid out and well thought out, a master plan for the garden design should definitely be created beforehand. Boomkamp Gardens from Borne in the Netherlands was available for this purpose. For decades, a competent provider of trees, plants and the matching garden architecture. During the two days, visitors had access to free advice with a sketch plan of their garden.

During the weekend, "Pools.Info" was the ideal place to visit because the entire spectrum could then be viewed: the 4 indoor swimming pools, 23 whirlpools and the two outdoor pools are still ready for swimming and testing for the whole season. Due to the daily opening hours, it is also easy to find trial bathing appointments on weekdays or Saturdays. Regional RivieraPool specialist dealers will be on site to give advice and to substantiate current swimming pool wishes. And in some cases, this can also be achieved with the inexpensive special sale pools, which are available very cheaply as trade fair returns or exhibition pools, saving up to 6,000 euros. Above all, the pools can still be installed at short notice, so that you can enjoy the 2011 bathing season to the full (swimming) extent.

Excellent catering was provided with fresh tarte flambée and cool white wine. A variation of fresh summer wines and cocktails is presented to the inclined visitor. For the very health-conscious, there are delicious "smoothies", the liquid vitamin bombs from the USA.

The unsold prefabricated pools will remain on display in the outdoor area until the end of June.
