Purist pool matching the Bauhaus style

Successful and award-winning renovation project in Bauhaus style: In the Rhine-Main area, a house from the sixties was remodeled into a contemporary residential home in Bauhaus style and complemented by a modern pool landscape.

The harmonious interplay of the house's geometric construction and the puristic design of the D-Line by RivieraPool also convinced the jurors of the German Federal Association of Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw). They awarded this pool landscape with the bsw Award in Silver for private pool areas. The trade magazine "Haus und Wellness" also reports on the successful design in its June/July issue.

According to the bsw jury, the outdoor pool with its clean lines and structures harmonizes perfectly with the architecture of the house. Reduced in appearance, the pool landscape integrates into the natural surroundings. Rectangular basalt coping stones, rounded on the water side, support the Bauhaus aesthetic.

The Kara stair system used in this facility is simply and elegantly shaped: two opposing entry stairs at the head of the pool, each with four steps, lead into the water. This stair arrangement is advantageous for everyone who wants to use the full length of their pool for swimming, especially since the counter-current system is mounted between the steps. The Kara model of the D-Line is available in lengths from 6.70 to 10.70 meters and in seven color shades from white to Granicite.

Not only do the house and pool harmonize perfectly in terms of aesthetics, but both are also state-of-the-art in terms of energy efficiency.

Through a solar roller shutter cover and an efficient heat pump, the pool's energy consumption is reduced by 50 percent compared to conventional technology.
