The new “WetLounge” at Aquanale

The following scene is well-known: summer, sun, life on the beach. People hang out in the warm, shallow water and enjoy their time. Not everyone is swimming actively, or they only swim briefly in deep water...

How do you bring this quality of life home? This question is also being asked by pool design professionals worldwide, the "watershape designers". "Life by the water": wet and dry living spaces merge: terrace furniture is reflected in shallow water surfaces. Cooling hands and feet – staying and relaxing in and by the water. Or quick fitness – just as you like.

These ideas were incorporated into the design of the new "WetLounge" from RivieraPool. A prefabricated swimming pool that has never existed in this form before. Objectively speaking, this shallow water zone is an extension of the pool by one or two meters in length, with a water depth of 15 cm. In terms of design, however, it is an enrichment by a 2 m longer water surface. And that has a generous, calming, and elegant effect. Emotionally, the new WetLounge results in an increase in the quality of life, because with it, dry and wet living spaces grow together.
You gladly place your seating or lounging furniture in the shallow water and enjoy the special flair that such a lagoon radiates. With its 3.7 x 2 m, the WetLounge offers a large area for furnishing with furniture or decorations. When the underfloor roller shutter rolls over the water surface, the furniture moves "back to land" and the pool is safely covered.

Two stair systems are available for safe entry: The new "Linear RS" is a comfortable 4-step stair system, equipped with a roller shutter chamber that accommodates the complete pool roller shutter. Today, this shutter is equipped with polycarbonate slats because this material is hail-proof and heat-insulating. It allows solar energy to pass into the water, which brings several degrees of warmth per sunny day into the pool completely free of charge. Two skimmers ensure the necessary cleanliness on the water surface. Below, 2 jet nozzles flow through the shaft.

Opposite is a discreet, five-step corner staircase "Ancona": This new staircase is seamlessly integrated and covered with an anti-slip coating. It connects the shallow water zone elegantly and safely with the swimming part of the pool. This leaves plenty of space on the side for flow and massage systems and, of course, preserves the full swimming length.

The design highlight is the shallow water zone, which can be illuminated like a lagoon using LED lights on request. A fire bowl in the middle of the water perfectly complements this atmosphere and unfolds a calming and decorative effect.

This is how the elements can be experienced: water and fire come together there. Clean, with a bio-ethanol flame and decorative "ice" made of broken glass stones. Suddenly, the pool becomes the atmospheric center of the garden, a new living space that brings together relaxation and fitness.
