44 years at Rengers Kunststoffe

When Wilfried Freyer started working in the commercial department at Rengers Kunststoffe in 1972, the company had just entered the pool construction sector. He remained loyal to the Geeste-based family business for more than four decades - and has now been bid farewell into retirement by three generations of the Rengers family in a celebratory ceremony.

"Wilfried Freyer was always a supporting pillar in our company," expressed senior manager Gisela Rengers in thanking the long-standing employee. "With great loyalty and reliability, he took charge of purchasing raw materials and components, as well as internal administrative tasks," adds Josef Rengers, who founded Rengers Kunststoffe in 1964. Like few others, Freyer experienced and shaped the development of the company: From expanding production to whirlpools, through increasing the variety of swimming pool models, to expanding into international markets. Now, Wilfried Freyer is entering his well-deserved retirement. He will keep up to date with the latest swimming pool trends during future visits to the plant or the swimming pool exhibition...

Rengers Kunststoffe: 
Rengers Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH & Co. KG, based in Geeste-Dalum, belongs to the Rengers Group of companies and is the production site for swimming pools and whirlpools within the corporate network. Rengers Kunststoffe was founded in 1964 and is the core of the company. RivieraPool Fertigschwimmbad GmbH has been responsible for the marketing and sales of all products since 1976. The Slovakian production site Reku Slovakia spol. s r.o. has been supplying East and West European markets since 1993. Today, the Rengers Group employs around 200 people across its three locations and is one of the leading providers of prefabricated swimming pools and whirlpools in Europe.
